Last Spring I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie and Matt. The couple was dreaming of a rustic yet sophisticated Delaware Wedding at Thousand Acre Farm . Not only was I super excited about their vision for their big day, but they had already booked Stacy Hart as their wedding photographer and wanted to be a part of The Collective, win!! Thanks to a stellar team of vendors we were able to craft a gorgeous day full of unique and personal details.
The beautiful sunset ceremony was complete with a wooden crate and climbing ivy aisle. Candles glowed as the couple tied the knot under the overgrown spirea and garden rose arch.
Cami Monet created the most gorgeous custom sign featuring a sentiment from one of the couple’s favorite movie. It was the perfect addition to the ceremony decor!
I distinctively remember one of my very first meetings with Jamie. She mentioned her love for beautiful flowers, and how peonies and ranunculus were among her favorite blooms. Her bridal bouquet was nothing short of that!
Among their list of must have’s for the wedding, Jamie and Matt wanted to incorporate their adorable pups into the celebration. While their presence was not possible at the wedding, they still wanted to make sure they were a big part of it. We decided to create a custom escort card display where Baron and Bailey took center stage and encouraged guests to “fetch their seat”! This was one of my favorite elements to design, so fun! Custom watercolor illustrations were also created by Cami Monet.
The reception space was all dressed up for the occasion. Floor length chiffon table runners, softened the space while lush floral centerpieces, loose succulents, and vines added a touch of romance.
The Sweetheart Table was the obvious focal point of the space. We decided to accentuate the already majestic fireplace with a gorgeous greenery and floral installation.
No wedding would be complete without cake, am I right? The couple opted for a rustic sweets display of assorted cupcakes and homemade ladyfingers. A vintage ladder installation hung over the desserts table, milk glass cake plates and a personalized cake stand gave it a special touch!
Hooray for lovely weddings and even more wonderful couples!
