We’re excited to have Philadelphia wedding photographer Brittani Elizabeth join us again here again on the blog.  She has three great tips to help you create the ultimate wedding day photography timeline.3 Tips for creating your WEdding Photography Timeline, A Styled Fete Philadelphia floral and wedding designers

Time for the details!

One of the first things to get cut is the time for details! You have taken so much time to carefully select each and every little trinket or heirloom that is with you on your wedding day, and your photographer is there to photograph those items. Not every photographer takes a ton of time on details, but we take extra care in documenting the smallest of details for you to remember your day.

Highly Consider a first look

Although it isn’t for everyone, a first look that is properly built into your timeline will make your wedding day WAY less stressful. You get a solid block of time to spend with your love ALONE on your wedding day (who doesn’t want that?!). With a first look, there is no chance of your time together to get shortened due to other mishaps!

Reception Room Sneak Peak!

Sometimes brides have the option to have their cocktail hour in a separate space from their reception room. We always recommend this option because we usually are photographing your reception decor during your cocktail hour, and if guests are allowed in there, then coats and purses get left and you don’t get to see the beautiful tablescape that your vendors prepared for you! I always love when venues do a “sneak peak” of the reception room with the bride and groom before their guests enter so that they can see how the rest of their details and vision came together to create a beautiful wedding day!

At A Styled Fete, we love to work closely with your photographer to ensure that all of the little details you’ve so carefully curated are captured flawlessly. In the Philly area, there are so many great photographers with a huge range of styles. If you find us before you’ve settled on a photographer we would be pleased to connect you with a local pro who will capture you and your details beautiful and match your aesthetic. Contact us today to schedule your floral and design consultation and learn more about our favorite photographers!

These are great – especially the advice about taking a look at the reception room before the guests enter 🙂

Aida, we love when photography has the chance to capture all of the reception details in an empty room. Often these are what our couples have spent the most time (and budget) on so its important that they are well documented!
